Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 Effective October 6, 2026 Supersedes all prior versions

This policy explains how Guardian United LLC, doing business as My Text Hub ("My Text Hub," "we," "us" or "our"), handles personal information.

We handle two different kinds of information, and the difference matters: information about our own customers and visitors, which is ours to decide about, and information about a merchant's subscribers, which we hold and process on that merchant's behalf. Section 2 explains which is which.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in data or consent records with anyone for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Who we are

My Text Hub is a text message marketing and digital loyalty service for restaurants, gyms, salons and other local businesses. It is operated by Guardian United LLC, a Washington limited liability company.

2. The two roles we play

When we act for ourselves. When you visit our website, ask for a demo, sign up as a merchant, or contact us, we decide how that information is used. This policy governs it.

When we act for a merchant. When a diner signs up for a restaurant's loyalty program at a kiosk, by scanning a QR code, through a web form or by texting a keyword, that information belongs to the restaurant. The restaurant decides what messages go out and who receives them. We store and process it on their behalf, under our Merchant Agreement with them, and we do not use it for our own purposes.

So if you signed up for a loyalty program at a business and want to know how your information is used, or want it deleted, the business is the right place to start, though you can also come to us and we will help. See section 14.

3. Information we collect about merchants

When a business signs up for or inquires about the Service, we collect:

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you use our website or the merchant portal, described in section 10.

4. Information collected about subscribers

On a merchant's behalf, the Service may collect the following from people who opt in to that merchant's program:

We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government identifiers, precise location, or health information from subscribers, and the Service is not designed to accept them.

5. Mobile opt-in data

Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are not sold, rented, traded or licensed. They are used only to deliver the messaging program the subscriber opted in to, and to demonstrate that the opt-in happened.

We share this category of information only with the service providers who are strictly necessary to deliver a message, such as our messaging platform provider and the mobile carriers, and only for that purpose.

We also do not use a merchant's subscriber data to market to those subscribers on behalf of a competing business.

6. How we use information

We use merchant information to:

We use subscriber information only to deliver the merchant's program: enrolling the subscriber, tracking loyalty progress, sending the messages the merchant schedules, processing opt-outs and replies, and reporting results back to the merchant.

7. When we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Text messages and consent

The messages a subscriber receives come from the merchant whose program they joined, sent through our platform. Message frequency varies by merchant and by campaign. Message and data rates may apply.

Subscribers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, which removes them from that merchant's list automatically. Replying HELP returns contact information and opt-out instructions. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of any purchase.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on carrier networks and device settings.

We also send a small number of operational messages to merchant account contacts, such as support and account notices. Merchants can opt out of those the same way, though doing so may affect our ability to support the account.

9. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are stored by Stripe, not by us. We do not receive, store or have access to full card numbers or security codes. We see only what we need to administer billing, such as the card brand, the last four digits, the expiration date and whether a charge succeeded. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

10. Cookies and analytics

Our website and merchant portal use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. We use analytics tools that collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, browser and device type, and time on page.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies are needed for sign-in and core features, so blocking them may stop parts of the site from working. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

Our kiosks do not use advertising cookies and do not track subscribers across other websites or apps.

11. How long we keep information

12. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit over TLS, role-based permissions and vendor review to protect personal information. Merchant portal accounts are individually credentialed, and we ask merchants to keep their credentials private and to tell us promptly if an account may have been compromised.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects personal information we hold, we will notify affected parties and regulators as required by law.

13. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of there.

To make a request, email info@mytexthub.com or call (509) 361-1990. We will verify your identity before acting, respond within the time the applicable law allows, normally 45 days, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. You may use an authorized agent.

If we decline a request we will explain why. You may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.

To stop receiving marketing email from us, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. We will still send service and billing notices.

14. Subscriber requests

If you joined a loyalty or text program at a business and want your information removed, you have two routes, and both work:

Because the merchant owns that data, we may need to involve them, and we may keep a record of your opt-out so you are not added back.

15. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Merchants are required not to knowingly enroll minors, and merchants who promote age-restricted products must use age verification on their sign-up flows and must not enroll anyone under 21. If you believe a child's information has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Where information is processed

We and our service providers are located in the United States, and information is processed there. The Service is intended for businesses and subscribers in the United States and Canada.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the version number and effective date at the top of this page and keep the prior version on file. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will give notice by email to merchant account contacts at least 30 days in advance.
