What you get
Four ways to build a list, a loyalty program that runs itself, and the texts that bring people back. No app for your customers to download.
Four ways in. Most businesses use two or three of them at once, and every one of them is included in every plan.
A kiosk in a tamper-proof case at the till or host stand. Customers type their mobile number to join, check in on later visits, and redeem rewards on the screen. It runs over cellular, so finicky wifi is not your problem — you plug it in and it works.
$399 one time · $15/mo kiosk serviceA QR code on a table tent, window or receipt. The camera opens your own branded web page where customers sign up, check in and redeem. Nothing to download, and it only works while they are physically at your business, so check-ins cannot be faked from the couch.
Included in every planCustomers text a word to your number to join — useful on signage, radio, a menu or a flyer, anywhere a QR code is awkward. Each keyword is tracked separately, so you can see which sign is actually working.
Included in every planAn opt-in form you can embed in your own website or link from social media. The same sign-up, from people who are not standing in your shop.
Included in every plan
This is the part that compounds. A list is only worth what you do with it, and most of this runs without you touching it.
You pick the reward and how many visits earn it. Customers see their progress every time they check in, and the reward lands as a time-stamped claim text they show at the counter.
Loyalty and aboveAn automatic text a set time after someone signs up — an hour, a day — with a small offer designed to earn the second visit. The second visit is the one that turns a stranger into a regular.
Loyalty and aboveSent automatically on the day, with an offer you choose once. If you sell to a regulated industry you can also require a birthdate at sign-up, which doubles as the age gate carriers expect.
Loyalty and aboveThree escalating nudges for people who have stopped coming — typically around 20, 40 and 60 days with no check-in, each with a slightly better offer. Set it once and it runs forever.
Loyalty and aboveEvery automated campaign has a weekly send window. Turn individual days off, and on custom and review campaigns set a start and end time for each day. If a text would fire at ten at night, or on a day you switched off, it is held and sent at the next time you allow rather than going out late or being lost.
Windows are judged in your customer's own time zone, not yours, and cannot be set outside 8:00 AM to 8:59 PM — the hours federal telemarketing rules allow. That matters because the liability for a badly timed text sits with your business, and a multi-state list is where it catches people out.
Loyalty and above
Campaigns you send yourself, and replies that come back to a real inbox rather than disappearing.
Send to your whole list or a slice of it — a slow Tuesday, a new menu, an event. Plain texts or picture messages, scheduled or sent now. Pictures cost more credits but get noticed, which is why restaurants lean on them.
Included in every planAttach a redeemable offer to any message and see exactly how many people walked back in because of it — not opens or clicks, actual redemptions at your counter. Links are shortened and tracked separately.
Included in every planCustomers can text you back and you can reply, from a shared inbox with saved replies and notes on each contact. Plenty of people would rather text a question than call and wait.
Included in every planA dedicated number your messages come from, so you are not sharing a shortcode with other businesses and customers learn to recognize you.
+$10/mo per number
Every number on our results page came out of these reports, not a survey.
Total sign-ups, broken out by kiosk, mobile web app, keyword and QR scan, plus check-ins — last week and all-time, side by side. If you read one thing, read this.
Visits per customer per month, where people sit in the punch-card cycle, and the redemption rate on each campaign you have sent. This is how you find out which offer is worth repeating.
How many credits you have used this month and what is left, broken out by texts and picture messages. The message composer also shows you what a send will cost before you press send.
The tools above are in every plan. What moves is the monthly credit allowance, the overage rate, and whether loyalty is switched on.
